Happy Valley surpasses the 8m mark, and Madame Blanc kicks off strong for its second series.  The Jubilee Celebrations put Sam Ryder in another huge show for 2022. The Outlaws & Top Gear are amongst the new shows beginning this week. MONDAY 30TH: Britain's Got Talent was Monday's best performing show, but could only manage 11th across the week with 4.32 million viewers. Coronation Street was close behind with 4.23 million, and Emmerdale had 3.69 million. Silent Witness was BBC1's best performance with 3.56 million viewers, just ahead of the BBC News At Six which informed 3.45m. The Chase had 2.84m, and The One Show had 2.68m. Springwatch on BBC2 did pretty well with 2.04m at 8PM, ahead of the likes of Pointless (1.81m), and Tipping Point (1.64m).  The Queen leads the week, where only four programmes best the 4m mark. From the RHS Flower Show on BBC2, to Formula 1 on Sky Sports... Here's an insight into this week's overnight ratings. MONDAY: Coronation Street sat on top for Monday 23rd, with 4.34m watching, just managing to pull ahead of the return of Silent Witness which had 4.28m engrossed. Outside of regular news broadcasts, the next best performance went to ITV again with Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace. The 9PM show had 3.01m watching. Beyond that, we slipped under 3m for The Chase which had 2.79m watching, and The One Show entertained 2.38m, just edging ahead of EastEnders and its 2.25m viewers. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show put BBC2 up there, with 2.21m tuning in at 8PM, and as we drop under the 2m mark, we come to Pointless which had 1.97m watching, just besting Tipping Point's 1.71m.  An interesting weekend, where we saw the series premiere of ITV's Grace, the final episode of Killing Eve and numerous shows continued into their second week.  FRIDAY: Gogglebox continued this week slightly up on last with 3.1m watching (20.8%), making it the third most-watched show of the night. As usual, tops of the day went to the ITV soaps, each claiming figures in the high 3m mark.  Elsewhere, BBC's Not Going Out saw a gentle rise, sitting at 2.1m to take 7th for the day. The Invictus Games had an audience of 1m, putting it in 17th for the day,  SATURDAY: Britain's Got Talent remained very solid, sticking with an audience of 5.2m (35.8% share). This put it easily ahead of any other show that day, and gave a slid lead-in for The 1% Club which followed with 3.8m watching. Romeo & Duet dipped slightly and entertained 1.7m (14.1% share), just bested by a celebrity edition of The Hit List which had a 16.6% share and the same audience figure. Killing Eve ended ...
