UK TV Ratings (15 March - 21 March 2021)

 Line of Duty returns with fantastic figures, sitting at 13 million. Gogglebox drops slightly on last week. The Flight Attendant makes a rather good start on Sky 1, and Top Gear continues to perform well.  Monday is knocked from the top spot to be replaced by Sunday. Line of Duty reaches well over 13 million (47.3%). Unforgotten rises to second now Bloodlands has gone, with just under 600k more than its previous episode. Ant & Dec remain in third, but slightly up on the last show. Thursday was the worst performing day with 22nd being its highest chart position with Emmerdale.  Moving on to the soaps, as usual Coronation Street was the top performer with a peak audience of 6.37m (down 310k). Emmerdale 's highest audience this week was 5.45m (down 150k). EastEnders took a knock, peaking in 28th place this week with a figure of 4.64m (down 160k). Moving out of the top 30, Neighbours had a high of 1.07 million, 13th for the week on Channel 5 (up 20k). Home and Away had a high of 48

UK TV Ratings Top 30 (8 March - 14 March 2021)

Meghan & Harry's Oprah Interview nears 15 million viewers, topping the week by a huge distance. Gogglebox keeps growing. The Voice UK takes another slight dip.  Harry & Meghan keep Monday Night at the number one spot. Thursday knocks Tuesday off the bottom spot, this being the worst performing night of the week, its highest placing being 24th with the BBC News at Six (5.3m).  The top three for the week was somewhat similar to last. Harry and Meghan topped the chart with 14.8 million viewers. This calculates at a total share of around 57%. Tremendous figures there for ITV. Bloodlands held on to second place this time around, with a rather strong figure 8.15 million (29.5%). Unforgotten took third place this time with just under 7.5 million watching (30%).  Elsewhere, Gogglebox continues to be a giant for Channel 4, this week garnering an audience of 6.7 million (29.5%). Piers Morgan's Life Stories dips below two million. Unforgotten leads a very tight race to take first place for the week.  Monday continues its reign as the best performing night with Unforgotten taking first place. Seven shows from Monday managed to take the top 30. Tuesday achieved the lowest placement with the  BBC News at Six managing 16th place. However, although slight alterations in placing, the top three keeps with the same three shows. Unforgotten sees a slight rise in viewership on episode one, jumping from 7.4 million to 7.7 million. The share went from 29.1% to 28.0% however. Bloodlands sat very slightly behind it with just under 7.7 million watching, also up on last week and taking a share of 30.0%. Ant & Dec took a slight hit, however, taking them to third from last week's figure of 8 million meaning just over 500k were lost.  Elsewhere in the top 30, Attenborough's Life in Colour continues to perform reasonably well with 5.4 million tuning in for this ins

 Top for the week was a new briefing, but closely behind was a few new shows including Gogglebox and Unforgotten.  PEAK POSITIONS: MON:     1ST (+3) 7/30 TUE:     20TH (+1) 2/30 WED:     5TH (+1) 6/30 THU:     22ND (-20) 4/30 FRI:     6TH (+1) 3/30 SAT:     2ND (-1) 3/30 SUN:     3RD (=) 5/30 Our top three was edited slightly this time around. Ant & Dec lost 500k but held on to a top three position and a 37.4% share. Bloodlands also dipped slightly from 8.2 to 7.4 million (29.9%). Unforgotten returned to 7.4 million viewers (29.1%), and McDonald & Dodds had 5.9 million watching (24%).  Coronation Street peaked with 6.4 million this week, down by 0.4m. Emmerdale saw a high of just under 5.5 million, slightly down on last week. EastEnders saw a high of 5.3 million, being the only one up this time around. Neighbours had a high of 999k (16.9%) whilst Home and Away peaked with 439k (4.8%). The highest audience for Hollyoaks was 846k.  Gogglebox returned with just under 6 million wat

 Ant & Dec shoot to the top with just over 8.5 million viewers. Pre-Transmission data continues to build audiences for The Bay.  PEAK POSITIONS: MON:     4TH (-1) 5/30 TUE:      21ST (-8) 4/30 WED:     6TH (-2) 6/30 THU:     2ND (+19) 4/30 FRI:       7TH (+7) 4/30 SAT:        1ST (=) 3/30 SUN:     3RD (+12) 4/30 Our top three is slightly different this week. The jump from The Masked Singer to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (48.4%) keeps ITV in the number one spot. The official figure is down by around 1.4 million, but still very strong. Death in Paradise sees a nice jump in viewership by 450k with a 34.1% share. Bloodlands makes its debut with just over 8 million watching (33.1%).  Coronation Street is the top soap once again with highs of 6.8 million, on par with last week. Emmerdale takes a gentle dip from 5.7 to 5.6 million. EastEnders sees very little change with 4.9 million being its highest. Hollyoaks had a high of 882k on E4. Elsewhere, Bradley & Barney Wals
