UK TV Ratings (15 March - 21 March 2021)
Line of Duty returns with fantastic figures, sitting at 13 million. Gogglebox drops slightly on last week. The Flight Attendant makes a rather good start on Sky 1, and Top Gear continues to perform well.
Monday is knocked from the top spot to be replaced by Sunday. Line of Duty reaches well over 13 million (47.3%). Unforgotten rises to second now Bloodlands has gone, with just under 600k more than its previous episode. Ant & Dec remain in third, but slightly up on the last show. Thursday was the worst performing day with 22nd being its highest chart position with Emmerdale.
Moving on to the soaps, as usual Coronation Street was the top performer with a peak audience of 6.37m (down 310k). Emmerdale's highest audience this week was 5.45m (down 150k). EastEnders took a knock, peaking in 28th place this week with a figure of 4.64m (down 160k). Moving out of the top 30, Neighbours had a high of 1.07 million, 13th for the week on Channel 5 (up 20k). Home and Away had a high of 482k (up 33k). Finally, we come to Hollyoaks which had 842k at its peak (down 150k), and kept it in first place on E4.
Elsewhere in the top 30, Channel 4 had two entries, both in the top 15. Gogglebox struck 7th place (down one place) with 6.34m and a 25.8% share. SU2C Bake Off saw a nice rise on last week's figure of 5.63m to 5.83m this week and a higher placement of 11th (up from 16th).
Top Gear rose to 6th place from 12th with 6.36 million viewers. Comic Relief scraped itself into the top thirty with 4.6m watching (21.7%). Moving on to other shows, The Voice had 4.57 million (23.0%), up on the previous show by 350k. All Star Musicals had an audience of 4.58m (23.9%). DNA Journey continued on ITV with 3.67m (17.1%). Piers Morgan's Life Stories took a hike in viewership this week with 2.95m (16.3%).
On Sky 1, The Flight Attendant achieved a figure of 1.16 million for its 1AM broadcast. The Friday evening repeat added a further 333k bringing the total audience to 1.493 million (if there were no repeat viewers). Resident Alien had 713k watching, up almost 100k on its previous episode. On Sky Witness, The Good Doctor performed well with 720k.
